Tiësto is a Dutch trance DJ and record producer. His real name is Tijs Verwest. Tiësto has become one of the world’s most famous people in the trance and in the electronic dance music arena. Although he has used several aliases in the past, he is best known as DJ Tiësto. Then he dropped DJ too. In early 2000s he became the first DJ to perform to a large crowd without any other DJs or opening acts. He was also the first DJ to play live on stage at an Olympic Games at the 2004 Olympic Games opening ceremony at Athens. He was crowned ‘World’s No. 1 DJ’ three consecutive times by DJ Magazine in 1002-04.Recommended content
